Our consultation package is individually tailored to meet the needs of your family. We will work with you to help you find the best way to homeschool. This could include helping design a schedule; advising you on your own studies; choosing which blocks/subjects to teach and how you do this; and generally offering help to create a home environment which supports your decision to homeschool.
Our service is personalized and we strive to be friendly and welcoming - you won't feel like 'just another client' and your e-mails will be answered promptly.
Usually, people need more help and support preceding and at the beginning of the school year, while they are deciding what to do: we would anticipate more phone calls when we start working together than later on when you need us less.
Remember, the year-long package is just one option. We also offer ad hoc phone consultations - and it may be that this would be the best way to work together. This can be discussed in your initial conversation.

How it Works

Print out, complete and return our two-part questionnaire together with samples of recent work. Once we receive this, Donna will assign you a consultant based on the best match for your particular needs. She will contact the consultant who will then e-mail you to set up the initial consultation. This process should not take more than a few days.
The purpose of the initial phone consultation is to explore whether working together would be beneficial. Remember that we need to have the information contained in the questionnaires to make this initial conversation fruitful.

Send your completed questionnaire, samples of children's work and the $30 fee to:

Donna will review the materials, make a copy for her own records and then send the originals on to your consultant. -
Assuming you and your consultant agree to work together for the year, you then send Christopherus the fee for the year.
Here are the payment options for 2009:
$425 paid in full
2 payments: $213+$15 ($228) up front and $212+$15 ($227) due by mutual agreement
Please note: this fee is per family, not per child. Payments can be made by check/money order.
Remember that there is free shipping and a 5% discount for all publications ordered at the same time as the consultation package (US/Canada clients only). -
We then send you any books that you have ordered.
- All further correspondence, including making of appointments is between you and your consultant.
Please note: you and your consultant will arrange specific times for phone consultations. It will be your responsibility to make the calls.
Once you have paid for your yearlong package it will not be possible to refund your payment (or part of it). This is largely due to the fact that we spend the largest amount of time with a client at the beginning of the consulting relationship.
We are happy to work with overseas clients. The procedure is basically the same but please let us know you are overseas when you make your initial inquiry.
