In addition to our regular ongoing and ad hoc consulting service for homeschoolers, we offer the following:

Having run several parent-education, parent/tot groups as well as establishing my own Waldorf nursery in the past, I am also a good source of information and a sympathetic sounding board for those contemplating in-home childcare. Questions I have recently worked with with daycare providers include:

  • How do I establish a peaceful and harmonious ordering of the day?

  • How do I find a balance between the children I care for and my own family?

  • Help! Several little boys are running amok during Circle Time!

  • How do I work with parents who just don't get it?

Please be aware that the terms  Waldorf and Waldorf-Inspired when used by schools and educational institutions (and this could include childcare) are  trademarked in the U.S. by AWSNA. We recommend contacting WECAN, the Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America, for further information.

I am also very happy to work with groups such as homeschool co-ops. We can talk about working with a variety of ages amongst the children; figuring out co-op guidelines; the role of parents; discipline questions; and much more.

Please contact me to discuss your needs. Rates for this service are individualized depending upon the particular configuration and needs of the group.

Also, those at the initial stages of considering creating a Waldorf kindergarten or grade school might find it useful to talk. I can help a group clarify the pros and cons of such a momentous step, drawing upon my involvement with  Waldorf school initiatives in both the US and UK.

I am also available for consultation by  teachers in Waldorf schools. Having spent more than 25 years working with children of all ages in various group and individual situations and having taught in Waldorf schools at various levels, I have much to offer teachers.
