In addition to our year-long consultation package, we offer ad hoc consultations. Our consultants are available to help, guide, listen to, inspire, and give pep talks. Our belief is that parents can create their own Waldorf homeschools whether they use a curriculum or put together their own program. We offer support and assistance regarding parenting and homeschooling, and can help with information about Waldorf schools and anthroposophy. What are your questions?
| Waldorf education - and especially Waldorf-inspired homeschooling - should be seen as a process, not as a fixed idea or a 'given'. We seek to empower parents to take the necessary steps toward developing a Waldorf-inspired homelife. To that end we often stray from the 'usual' Waldorf curriculum, and stress what seems appropriate for the given family situation over what one 'should' be doing. Having said that, we believe that parental self-education is the road to finding out what works for one's children. We can offer assistance and guidance in this process as well. We offer both e-mail or telephone consultations. Telephone consultations are either 1 hour or 1/2 hour in duration. E-mail correspondence is calculated to be roughly equivalent of either a half hour or hour call: please discuss exactly how this will work with your consultant. We do not offer assistance with state requirements or legal advice. Consultations cost $55 (US) for a one hour call (or e-mail equivalent) or $30 for a half hour (or e-mail equivalent). It could be that after one or two calls, you are on your way and our help is superfluous. Other possibilities are a series of 'check-in' calls, or an ongoing process of working together (including the year-long package).
