Need help in deciding which books to buy? The following list shows which books are specific to a grade. But remember, there are exceptions and some books are also suitable for many grades:

• Our Drawing book  is for parents to teach them techniques to use with their children: it can be for any age.
  
  
• If you are new to wet-on-wet watercolor painting, regardless of the age of your child, you should consider Painting with Children. If you are familiar with the basics of wet-on-wet and want a more in-depth look at this art, you should consider Painting in Waldorf Education.
  
  
• Parents of kindergarteners might wish to get the Waldorf Overview for Homeschoolers to see what lies ahead.
  
  
• Older children who have not done much or any form drawing can get a lot from Form Drawing for Beginners.
  
  
• Older children with special needs or challenges can benefit from most of the activities in Joyful Movement.
  
  
• If you've not used Waldorf before or missed some things or have a child on a somewhat slower schedule, the Language Arts book could be useful beyond 5th Grade.
  
  
• Our plays can be adapted for a wide range of ages.
  
  
• If you feel your 5th grade student has any gaps or weaknesses in math, you may want to consider our 4th Grade Mathematics.
  
  
• Hear the Voice of the Griot! has material in it for all 8 grades.
  
  
• Earth, Water, Fire and Air is part of the 4th grade curriculum but is suitable for ages from about 2nd through 6th grade. it could be used as the basis for many 6th grade physics experiments.
  
  
• Cooking for the Love of the World and Mitten Strings for God are for all families though the parenting advice in Mitten Strings is mainly focused on children under 12.
